Elliot Kotek: Cannes Winner & Philanthropist, Episode 023

Founder & CEO, The Nation of Artists; Editor-in-Chief, Beyond Cinema; Co-Founder, Not Impossible

Elliot Kotek is the CEO and founder of The Nation of Artists, the founding editor of Beyond Cinema and co-founded Not Impossible. To put it simply, he believes in the power of content and campaigns to change the world and is the key creative in building collaborative teams around ideas that deliver real impact to real people in real need. He is the producer of Project Daniel, Don's Voice, Queen Mimi and other projects that have been recognized for their innovation and which delivered compelling and award-winning content while simultaneously changing the daily narrative in people's lives.

In a world where people are preaching the 3 P's of People, Planet, Profit, Elliot goes one further with his 4 P Strategy: When you find something you're Passionate about, it will define your Purpose. When you share your purpose, you'll find your People. And when you have your people, anything is Possible.

Elliot's films have won dozens of awards on the festival circuit, his magazines have received accolades a-plenty and his branded content and campaign work has been recognized with 3 Cannes Lions (including the Titanium Lion), 5 Telly Awards, 4 One Show Awards, 2 Clios, AICP awards, recognition from TEDMED, Nominet Trust, NYU, archiving at MoMA and other attention grabbers that make it easier for him to do it again (with companies and people who have the power to amplify social good).

In latest news, Elliot is now the recipient of back to back SxSW Innovation Awards, is the Kellogg School of Management Innovation Fellow for 2016 and the 2015 Monash University Distinguished Alumni Award winner for the Faculty of Science.
